Indigenous Education Evening with Guest Speaker, Peter Yellowquill

Durham Catholic parents/guardians, secondary students and community members are invited to attend a free Indigenous Education evening with Residential Schools Survivor, Peter Yellowquill.

Peter Yellowquill will speak  about his experience in residential schools and talk about how Indigenous and non-Indigenous Canadians can work together towards the path of reconciliation.

Date: Monday, November 5, 2018   

Location: Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School, 1375 Harwood Ave., North, Ajax

Doors open: Refreshments served at 6:30 p.m.
Peter Yellowquill will speak at 7:00 p.m.
