Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School celebrates PRISM Week

Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School PRISM group celebrated PRISM Week from June 13 to 17, 2022. Notre Dame students were invited to participate in various Pride-themed activities. PRISM started the week off with their PRISM Bake Sale and all proceeds are being donated to the Trevor Project. The following day, students participated in a QR Trivia Hunt, to test their knowledge of pride flags.

 

Wednesday, students were encouraged to wear colourful clothing to show their support for the 2SLGBTQ+ community. PRISM Week ended with raffle ticket sales, for a chance to win the ultimate prize of the PRISM Basket with a Pride Sock Wonkey. PRISM President, Lynnea Morales, said, “It was amazing to see so much support and love from the ND community. I hope to see more events like this in the future & hope that PRISM inspired other schools to celebrate Pride, not only this month, but always!"
