Last saturday, ND's robotics team attended the prestigious UOIT Sumobot Competition where the goal is to be the last robot standing. During the round robin ND's robot consistently placed high in each match and knocked off many other robots to end up entering the semifinals with a ranking of 3rd out of 59 robots. Unfortunately, an unlucky turn in the first match of the semifinals resulted in ND's robot being knocked out early, which ruined our chances to make the finals. Congratulations to team members Isaac and Samantha on a very successful fall robotics season.
